Help Text: ' This Help topic describes the behavior of the Edit menu.
The Edit menu provided here is the standard Macintosh Edit menu, but its behavior depends on what sort of window is frontmost. If a plot window is the front window, then the Undo, Cut, and Clear commands do nothing. The Copy command is called "Copy Graph", and choosing this command (or pressing command-C) will copy the currently displayed plot to the Clipboard. The plot will be copied to the Clipboard in the same size and shape as it is displayed on the screen. The Paste command will attempt to create a plot from any text currently in the Clipboard; this feature is useful if you want to copy columns of data from a spreadsheet and create a fast graph.
When a Desk Accessory is the front window, the function of the Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, and Clear commands is determined by the Desk Accessory.
